Hotels

Hotels provide paid lodging facilities, usually for a short duration. People using the  facilities vary according to the location of  the hotel. Hotels located in large cities and business areas cater to business travelers , who stay for a short duration, usually less than a week. In tourist spots, the duration for which the vacationers stay is usually longer. 

The facilities offered by the hotel will vary according to the location. Basic facilities are a bed, cupboard, table and an attached bathroom. Hotels catering to business travelers may offer internet connectivity, so that after office work may be completed. Usually the telephone and internet connection charges in a hotel are much higher than the prevailing rate outside.

Hotels are classified according to the kind of  facilities the hotel provides  and stars are assigned to the hotel.  Basic hotels with few facilities are single star or no star while hotels  providing luxurious facilities may be rated as 5 star or higher (up to seven stars) .
